Mr. Neeraj Choksi ( Director )
Mr. Neeraj Choksi is the co-founder and promoter of the NJ Group, a Surat-based diversified business conglomerate. NJ Group operates in a variety of industries, including real estate, asset management, technology, and training, but it is best known for its work in the financial services market, where it has one of India’s largest networks of financial product distributors. Mr. Neeraj Choksi has been active in offering direction to and influencing the future of the asset management sector as the visionary founder and MD of NJ Asset Management Private Limited.
Mr. Rajiv Shastri (Director & Chief Executive Officer )
Mr. Rajiv Shastri is a chartered accountant with a master’s degree in economic management and policy from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. He has more than 25 years of expertise in Fixed Income Fund Management responsibilities. Macroeconomic Analysis, Quantitative Investments, and Business Strategy are all examples of macroeconomic analysis. He was a member of the HDFC Mutual Fund’s founding staff and oversaw Fixed Income Investments. Later, at Lotus Mutual Fund, he was in charge of business strategy and growth. He was the ED and CEO of Essel Mutual Fund during his most recent stint in the MF sector. He is a columnist for ETPrime, Money Control, and Business Standard, as well as a professor of practice at the National Institute of Securities Market.
Investment approach which is dynamically managed through rules based selection of ETFs and debt securities
OBJECTIVE & INVESTMENT APPROACH – DEAP CONSERVATIVE
The investment objective is to provide capital appreciation in medium term with relatively lower volatility through a dynamically managed portfolio of equity and debt securities. ■ This approach shall invest in following securities: ■ Equity oriented Exchange Traded Funds (0-100%) ■ Debt oriented Mutual Fund schemes, Debt Exchange Traded Fundss, Liquid Funds and Arbitrage Funds (0-100%) ■ The proposed investment approach is as summarised below : ■ Rule-based asset allocation based on in-house proprietary model on the basis of valuations of equity market, interest rate and other factors ■ Rule-based ETF selection and allocation currently with underlying NIFTY 50(25%), NIFTY NEXT 50(50%) & NIFTY MIDCAP 150 (25%) as indices ■ On debt side, selection of the securities is based on lower credit risk and lower volatility ■ Asset allocation re-balancing will be reviewed on a quarterly basis and security rebalancing will be reviewed on a yearly basis ■ The Benchmark would be NIFTY 50 Hybrid Short Duration Fund 25:75 Index
